Thank you for choosing to donate to and support the Karunai Illam Trust New Zealand (KIT). Almost all the donations we receive go towards the care and education of our Illam children. This is possible because all our trustees and supporters are volunteers, and we have none of the usual organisational overheads such as office space.

Tax receipts and payment confirmations 

While the payment is made through the digital gateways, you will be asked for your email address. The main purpose is to know who made the donation and for KIT to be able to provide a tax receipt. Note that the PayPal issued receipt is a tax receipt. Please be sure to contact us as soon as possible if you haven't received any payment confirmation that you are expecting.

Your privacy and data 

We at KIT hold your email address securely in our locally held database and is accessible only to the trustees. We will never contact or send any information without your consent. Your banking information revealed during your payment transactions, we can assure is held securely by the relevant financial gateway provider (e.g., Poli, PayPal) governed by their standards and regulations. KIT does not hold any banking or financial records of donors though we do access minimal transaction records and receive payment notifications from the gateway providers.
