Recycled clothes sale - September 2023

After having a grand sale of recycled clothes last year, KIT repeated the sale this year. The sale was held in the Newtown Primary school hall sharing the wider school yard with the regular Saturday market. This meant the sale event had a high traffic of market goers.

As usual the trustees and a fantastic band of volunteers chipped in a range of duties - from collecting, sorting clothes, to pricing them and stacking or hanging them. Some volunteers even got into ironing the clothes for a crisp touch! The event was a great success and KIT met its funding goals while the team had fun and the buyers all made bargains and saving a lot of good clothing from going to the tip!
